About the Role

A dynamic and future-focused contract manufacturing team in Singapore is looking for a Project Engineer (Contract Manufacturing) to take the lead in managing full-cycle engineering projects. The role involves working with global clients across the medical, industrial, and commercial sectors while acting as the key liaison between customer requirements and internal capabilities. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and manage contract manufacturing projects from initial concept through delivery
  • Cooperate with customers to define project requirements, timelines, and quality standards
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, production, QA, supply chain) to ensure a smooth project flow and resolve technical challenges.
  • Monitor project milestones, budgets, and risks, providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict compliance with quality and regulatory standards, including ISO, FDA, and client-specific protocols.
  • Drive problem-solving and process improvements throughout the project lifecycle, from prototyping to cleanroom assembly.
  • Support business development with technical insights, proposals, and expertise in advanced manufacturing technology.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering, Electrical Electronics & Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in project coordinator/management or in related field.
  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations and standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Preferred but not required:
  • Experience in Metal Injection Molding (MIM), Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM), 3D metal printing, tooling, or cleanroom plastic injection
  • Hands-on experience in contract manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485)
