The Role:
We are partnering with our client to find an experienced
Bunker Trader with a
proven track record in marine fuel sales. This role focuses on
customer trading, selling marine fuel directly to
shipowners, charterers, and fleet managers. If you thrive in a
fast-paced trading environment and are passionate about
sustainable marine fuel practices, this could be the right role for you.
What You Will Do:
- Manage end-to-end marine fuel transactions, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and fleet operators.
- Identify new sales opportunities and drive Gross Profit growth in a highly competitive market.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing dynamics, and regulatory changes.
- Support the company’s commitment to sustainability by promoting biofuels and low-carbon fuel alternatives, backed by ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS certifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize pricing, logistics, and customer service.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in bunker trading, preferably with an existing customer base.
- Proven ability to generate GP of at least $20K/month within the first year.
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of closing deals.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable fuel alternatives (biofuels, LNG) is a plus.
- Candidates with 3-5 years of experience and a strong sales portfolio will be prioritized.
